Early college and concentrated dual credit
The JCPS campuses with the most concentrated dual-credit and early-college options for families wanting substantial college credit before graduation.
Many JCPS high schools offer some dual-credit classes. The campuses below are the concentrated options most useful to families looking for substantial college credit before graduation.
- Waggener High(opens the official JCPS page in a new tab)— College Now — up to 30 college credits; may begin in ninth grade
- duPont Manual High School(opens the official JCPS page in a new tab)— High School University magnet, plus AP and University of Louisville dual credit
- Central High School Magnet Career Academy(opens the official JCPS page in a new tab)— dual credit with UofL, JCTC, and Morehead State; early-college medical programs
- W.E.B. DuBois Academy(opens the official JCPS page in a new tab)— JCTC dual-credit and early-college partnership
Butler Traditional, Eastern, Brown, Western STEM, and several Academies schools also offer dual credit. List those separately if you want every campus that teaches a college class — not only the concentrated programs.
