Newburg is a resides middle school and one of three JCPS Mathematics/Science/Technology magnets, with Farnsley and Meyzeek. Sitting in the building as a resides student is not the same as sitting in MST. JCPS says if your resides school has a magnet you want, you must apply, and students apply to the MST program that serves their home address.
